Gastone Rinaldi Gastone Rinaldi “Pan Am” Chairs For Rima, Italy 1960
A stunning set of four chrome metal “Pan Am” armchairs, designed by Gastone Rinaldi, manufactured by Rima in Italy around 1960. These chairs were designed for Pan Am, or the “Pan American World Airways”. The tubular metal structure is inspired by the Pan Am logo. They have beautiful brown leather upholstered cushions to the seat and back, which contrasts nicely to the bright silver color of the frame. This combination of materials creates a truly luxurious style and makes them very comfortable. The deep, round shells are a pleasure to sit in and the structure makes the chairs beautiful from every angle! They would make a true eye-catcher in any interior. The set remains in very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
